Tora! Tora! Tora!
I just watched “Tora! Tora! Tora!”. What an AMAZING movie! I’m not a huge history fan, and I know the basics of what happened at Pearl Harbor; Japan surprise attacks America, America retaliates / enters WWII.
But to see the events that lead up to it and how so many people dropped the freaking ball when it came to warning signs that Japan was going to attack… unbelievable!...

I just watched the Goemon movie on HuluPlus (live action, dunno if there’s an animated series/movie or not as I write this).
I have to admit, I was very impressed. I liked the story a lot, I think the action was done well all things considered. Sure it’s unrealistic to think a person could jump as high as Goemon, but it only felt slightly out of place for the movie.

Christmas!
Minutes before my Christmas Day ends… Merry Christmas all! Now, I noticed a problem with Christmas. My older son (almost 15) got AC Revelations and AC III from Santa. I have a couple recent PS3 purchases to play… but I think I just lost the PS3 to him again. WTF was Santa thinking? :P

Don, I don’t know that it’s fair to toss Wii U in here just yet; it did just launch recently. 3DS and Vita have been out long enough though, and I held off on buying both; I still don’t have a Vita and only recently got a 3DS because of what I felt was a great deal.
Games should be cheaper too, especially if you buy them through a download service. You’re not getting any...

So, minor issue today. I tried to get my email through my hosted site with Gate.com. I use gmail so it syncs to my phone and had just requested something from a site I know has emails sent “now”. To me, awesome is being able to stay home with a sick child, work from home and still get your work done. I won’t have to use sick time for my son, or at least not as much. Oops
So, I’m kicking myself again. I’m rearranging my basement / “man cave”, and made the same damn mistake I do every time I move bookshelves when I move them in a temporary fashion.
I pull books down, stack them, repeat until the shelf is clear, move the shelf and then… crap. The books are now completely backwards in regards to putting them back on the shelf.
Oh well....
